Over a period of two years, we will systematically build your expertise in project management, enabling you to independently manage projects upon successful completion of the trainee program.
From day one, your onboarding will take place at our headquarters in Dorf an der Pram, where you will gain comprehensive insight into our processes, workflows, and mechanical engineering projects. To support your professional and personal development, you will also participate in additional training programs (e.g. IPMA certification, Microsoft Project, and more).
To expand our office team, we are seeking an:
Trainee Project Management – Industrial Installation (m/f/d)
Location: Dorf an der Pram | Full-time
Over a period of two years, we will systematically build your project management expertise, enabling you to independently manage projects upon successful completion of the trainee program.
Your training begins with a six-month assignment on one of our construction sites, where you will gain first-hand experience of our industry and the day-to-day operations on site. This will be followed by further development through professional training (e.g. IPMA certification, Microsoft Project, and more) as well as additional construction site assignments. After completing the initial training phase, your permanent workplace will be Dorf an der Pram.
These tasks await you
Act as the interface between the SGS project team on site and the back-office team.
Provide administrative support to the installation team in:
Planning installation activities
Monitoring project progress
Scheduling personnel and project timelines
Managing project changes
Maintaining quality documentation
Managing the construction site billing software
Job requirements
What convinces us
Solid technical education (apprenticeship with additional qualifications, technical college/HTL, or equivalent)
Previous construction site experience is an advantage

The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 42,000 (based on 38.5 hours per week, Collective Agreement for Employees in the Electrical and Electronics Industry). Depending on your qualifications, professional experience, and project assignment, we are willing to offer a competitive salary above the collective agreement. Your remuneration will also increase in line with your professional development. During construction site assignments, depending on the project location and working hours, a gross monthly salary between EUR 3,500 and EUR 7,000 is possible.
